Extending Hope and Healing to More People, TN

The Refuge Center for Counseling exists to close that gap by providing excellent, accessible, and affordable mental healthcare. Since opening in 2005, Refuge has grown into a significant provider of counseling in Middle Tennessee, now serving more than 4,200 people and providing more than 40,000 counseling sessions annually. Most sessions are provided on a sliding scale so that financial circumstances do not prevent people from receiving care.
Kingdom Good has partnered with Refuge to help extend that care even further.
Through a Kingdom Impact grant and ongoing relational support, Kingdom Good has helped increase Refuge’s capacity to provide subsidized, trauma-informed care to people and communities who might otherwise struggle to access professional mental health services.
For Kingdom Good, this is what catalytic partnership can look like: identifying an organization already doing excellent work and helping remove barriers that limit its reach.
By investing in Refuge, Kingdom Good is helping more individuals and families find a safe place to process trauma, build healthier relationships, develop resilience, and rediscover hope.
